ペンギン：バットマンの闇の世界への深淵な旅

The Batman film was a real success in 2022, and it seems that the adventure doesn't stop there.

Indeed, Matt Reeves, the director, is expanding his universe with a spin-off series centered on the Penguin universe, played by the talented Colin Farrell. Scheduled for 2024 on Max, this series promises to be as captivating as the feature film that inspired it. Here are three good reasons to look forward to this new venture into the dark and fascinating world of Batman.

A trailer that gives goosebumps

It is in this chaotic context that Oswald Cobblepot, aka the Penguin, emerges as a rising figure in the local underworld. The physical transformation and the striking performance by Colin Farrell send chills, promising moments of tense and thrilling action.

Batman, the shadow that looms

A persistent rumor circulates that Batman himself might make an appearance in the series. Although nothing is confirmed, it is tempting to speculate about the possibility of the masked vigilante crossing paths with the Penguin. Whether it’s a brief appearance by Robert Pattinson or a subtle nod foreshadowing the next film, this adds an intriguing dimension to an already promising series.

A solid cast

Besides Colin Farrell, the series benefits from a quality cast, with names such as Cristin Milioti and John Turturro. The presence of established talents like Clancy Brown and the direction by Craig Zobel, already acclaimed for his work on Mare of Easttown, are all elements that suggest a series of great quality.

An immersion not to be missed

The Penguin promises a captivating dive into the underbelly of Gotham City, with its share of betrayals, plots, and epic confrontations. With a top-notch cast and a carefully crafted aesthetic, this series is set to become a must-watch for Batman fans and lovers of dark, intense dramas.
