La Poste revealed that in France, there are nearly 200,000 unnumbered streets and 1.6 million households without a precise address. You must therefore update your mailing information with your employer, your pension fund, the tax authorities, and your daily service providers such as energy suppliers, mobile operators, insurance companies, and banks.

Simplify Your Procedures

Fortunately, the official public service portal allows you to change all your information at once. However, note that changing your address on your passport, ID card, or driver's license remains optional. On the other hand, for the vehicle registration certificate, even if you are not moving, you must change your domicile address. The update is free unless you do it more than three times, after which it will cost 2.76 euros.
