In Talverine, roads remain open while a shared story is performed at both ends. Actors cannot control an audience’s thoughts or feelings: they must persuade. A tour connects towns with conflicting memories, while stagehands, writers and performers decide whose voices will finally reach the stage.

The Wishing Well Stage

Nestled in the far corner of the Shared Prologue House, the Wishing Well Stage is a small, circular platform surrounded by hand-painted backdrops that depict vibrant landscapes and abstract scenes, inviting performers to transform the space for every new story told. The stage is set about a foot above the ground, allowing an intimate experience for seated spectators gathered on the soft, padded benches that wrap around its perimeter. Above, lanterns constructed from light wood cast soft lighting, enhancing the atmosphere of creativity and communal imagination. The platform itself is made from reclaimed wood, showing the wear and tear of countless performances, its edges adorned with intricate carved symbols representing the dreams of the towns' residents. Inviting exploration and spontaneous performances, the Wishing Well Stage embodies the spirit of desire and hope, while functionally serving as a rehearsal area during the day, encouraging local talent to share their narratives. It stands as both a literal and metaphorical wishing well, a place where dreams are nurtured through the art of storytelling.

The Harmony Nook

The Harmony Nook is an inviting alcove within the Shared Prologue House, designed for quiet reflection and intimate gatherings. Surrounded by shelves filled with stacked books and worn scrolls, this small, circular area features low cushions and handwoven tapestry seating arranged around a fire pit that crackles softly, casting a warm gleam across the space. The walls are adorned with murals depicting scenes of unity and collaboration from the towns' histories, capturing the essence of community storytelling. Recessed lighting highlights these murals without overwhelming the atmosphere, and natural light filters through canvas drapes that draw back to open the nook to the larger space when required. This area serves as a venue for storytelling circles, discussion groups, and a tranquil spot for performers to gather their thoughts before stepping into the more boisterous world of the main hall.

The Whispering Gallery

The Whispering Gallery is an exquisitely designed archway nestled against one side of the Shared Prologue House, decorated with intricately carved wooden panels that showcase tales of forgotten heroes and cherished legends. Visitors can step into this semi-enclosed space, where a low ceiling adorned with colorful fabric swags creates an intimate atmosphere. The gallery features a series of curved benches wrapped around the edges, encouraging visitors to lean in and share secrets or stories in hushed tones. Above, a gentle cascade of light filters through translucent cloth, casting playful shadows across the polished wood floor, enhancing the enchanting feel of the gallery. From here, the faint sounds of laughter and music from the main hall filter through, interwoven with the whispers of dreams yet to be told, making it a perfect space for both collective memory and personal reflection.
