On Serevane’s plateau, certain crystals retain vibrations received as they form. Researchers can read them, but never recover speech without interpretation and uncertainty. A sequence of signals disrupts expedition plans, leaving scientists, logisticians and residents to debate what should be published, preserved or left in silence.

To explore

Sound Reflection Gallery

The Sound Reflection Gallery is an elongated hallway within the Warm Window Refuge, designed to showcase the intricate relationships between sound and silence in the polar environment. The corridor is adorned with soundproof glass displays containing layered ice panels, each carefully crafted to reflect and distort echoes captured from the surrounding landscape. Soft, warm lighting bathes the gallery, highlighting the shimmering textures of the ice while casting gentle shadows that dance along the walls. Sheltered alcoves provide spots for visitors to pause, interact with the exhibits, and listen to curated soundscapes, creating an immersive experience of Serevane's unique acoustic characteristics. The atmosphere is quiet yet resonant, inviting researchers and travelers alike to explore the transient nature of sound in this frozen world.

To explore

Echoing Veil Conservatory

The Echoing Veil Conservatory is an expansive, glass-roofed greenhouse nestled within the Warm Window Refuge, housing rare, sound-sensitive flora that respond to ambient vibrations. The curved glass structure is supported by insulated steel frameworks, allowing natural light to filter through while maintaining warmth. Inside, the landscape is lush with bioluminescent plants that exhibit soft, ethereal glows, reflecting the colors of the surrounding ice when the ambient sounds change. Pathways weave through clusters of plants, and interactive sound devices positioned throughout allow visitors to discover the unique ways flora respond to atmospheric changes. The atmosphere is tranquil, filled with gentle rustling leaves that seem to whisper secrets as visitors tread softly. Comfortable seating areas invite contemplation, providing space for researchers and travelers to jot down their observations on the interplay of sound and life within this icy realm.
