On Serevane’s plateau, certain crystals retain vibrations received as they form. Researchers can read them, but never recover speech without interpretation and uncertainty. A sequence of signals disrupts expedition plans, leaving scientists, logisticians and residents to debate what should be published, preserved or left in silence.

Ready-to-play adventures

Echo Chamber of Whispers

The Echo Chamber of Whispers is a circular, sound-reflective space located within the Shared Twilight House. Its walls, lined with insulated holographic panels, emit a soft blue glow, creating an ethereal atmosphere. Researchers can gather in this intimate setting, using low-frequency sound devices to listen to the vibrations captured within the local ice. The core of the chamber features a central fountain-like structure that channels echoes into the space, amplifying the subtle sounds of the surrounding ice. Movable seating arranged in a spiral allows for collaborative discussions and experiments.

History

Constructed to enhance the study of sound within the icy environment, the Echo Chamber of Whispers has played a critical role in developing new techniques for interpreting the vibrations in ice crystals. Regular workshops and community meetings have made this space an essential site for knowledge exchange and communal reflection since its opening, adapting to the needs of both scientists and residents alike.
