About this world

Mirelium’s tiny inhabitants build beneath the veins of a living garden. A turning leaf changes their roads, and watering can move a border. When an unfamiliar plant alters the flow of dew, botanists, ferrymen and delegates must protect their cities without destroying the insects and roots that sustain them.

Dewdrop Exchange

The Dewdrop Exchange is a bustling hub suspended within the Weighed Seed Market, cleverly integrated into the very fabric of the market's design. Nestled beneath the translucent leaf awning, it features a central circular platform surrounded by a series of small, semi-permanent stands crafted from intertwined plant fibres and enhanced by tiny systems of mossy steps. Each stand is dedicated to different types of dew gathering, with intricate mechanisms for collecting and distributing water droplets that have become a precious commodity. Wisps of steam rise from heated dew condensation setups, creating a misty atmosphere that complements the vibrant market life. The air hums with conversations and the soft sounds of dew drips, adding to the lively yet tranquil environment. Bioluminescent fungi line the paths between the stands, glimmering softly in a spectrum of greens and yellows, illuminating the way for customers and traders alike. The entire exchange buzzes with activity, providing services that range from selling gathered water droplets to trading the knowledge of dew collection techniques, making it a focal point for economic and educational exchanges in Mirelium.
