Mirelium’s tiny inhabitants build beneath the veins of a living garden. A turning leaf changes their roads, and watering can move a border. When an unfamiliar plant alters the flow of dew, botanists, ferrymen and delegates must protect their cities without destroying the insects and roots that sustain them.

The Dewdrop Niche

The Dewdrop Niche is a small, tranquil alcove within the Bark Fold Inn, designed to harness the natural moisture of the environment. A series of smooth, leaf-shaped benches made from the inn's bark decor serve as seating, each positioned to catch the gentle light filtering through translucent leaf roofs overhead. The atmosphere is filled with the soft sounds of dripping dew, as droplets gather and fall from the leaves in a rhythmic pattern. Tiny woven baskets hold fresh herbs and delicate flowers, contributing to the soothing scents of the space. This niche becomes a gathering spot for residents to share stories and sip fragrant dew-infused teas, creating a warm and inviting community vibe.

History

Originally a neglected corner of the inn, the Dewdrop Niche was revitalized through communal efforts led by local residents who sought a peaceful space for relaxation and socialization. Over time, it has been enhanced with decorative plant life and comfortable furnishings, reflecting the collective creativity and care of the inhabitants, making it an integral part of the Bark Fold Inn's charm.
