About this world

Iskavel’s neighbourhoods tune gravity through jointly maintained mechanical plates. Their favourite sport moves a sphere without holding it, coordinating trajectories and shifts in the pitch. As a league opens to amateur teams, players, medics and referees face decisions about accessibility, loyalty and funding.

Gravity Flux Reinforcement Station

The Gravity Flux Reinforcement Station is a vital hub within the Reliable Plate Workshop, dedicated to enhancing the performance of mechanical gravity plates. The station features a series of interconnected workbenches where engineers, equipped with fine tools and holographic displays, meticulously assess and upgrade the plates' structural integrity. The air is filled with the sounds of clinking metal and the faint hum of machinery in motion. Large glass panels provide visibility into the ongoing processes, allowing bystanders to witness the blend of teamwork and technology. A high ceiling adorned with adjustable lighting mimics the colors of an overcast sky, creating a shifting ambiance that inspires creativity in the engineers at work. In one corner, a compact testing area showcases the repaired plates in action, projecting vivid holographic images of gravity patterns, further enriching the educational atmosphere.
