Gravity Exchange Pavilion
The Gravity Exchange Pavilion is an expansive communal area designed for spectators and players alike to come together before and after matches. The pavilion is enveloped by large, gracefully arched metal structures that mimic the sleek aesthetic of the First Tilt Court while adding a touch of modernity to its form. The roof is made of translucent polymer panels that diffuse sunlight, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere within while also allowing views of the sky above. Inside, benches crafted from lightweight composite materials offer comfortable seating, arranged in a semi-circle facing the pitch to encourage community engagement. Small kiosks provide refreshments and gear, promoting local vendors and fostering a sense of community. The Pavilion's design includes subtle gravity zones that create small, floating effects for surprise entertainment moments, embodying the spirit of Iskavel through playful architectural features.
History
The Gravity Exchange Pavilion was erected shortly after the popularity of the First Tilt Court surged, stemming from the residents' need for a communal gathering space linked to the evolving sports league. It has become a landmark venue for pre-game rituals and post-match celebrations, holding events such as workshops and local tournaments that enhance community connections. Over time, it has been updated with energy-efficient lighting and augmented reality displays broadcasting live game stats, further engaging the community in the sports culture of Iskavel.
