The Lantern of Reflection
The Lantern of Reflection is a circular structure nestled among the vibrant flora of Renewed Furrow Gardens, designed as a quiet space for contemplation and creativity. The building’s walls are composed of reclaimed bricks interspersed with glass panels, allowing for a soft, diffused glow to permeate the interior. Set within its center is a large, shallow pool of water that reflects both the natural greenery and the sunlight filtering through the glass, adding to the room’s serene ambiance. The space is filled with upcycled furniture, including low cushions made from rewoven textiles, inviting visitors to sit, reflect, or engage in spontaneous discussions. The atmosphere is tranquil and inspiring, a perfect sanctuary amidst the busy cooperative activities outside.
