Cookies and storage policy

2026-10-18

Keoby uses storage needed for login, security and requested preferences. Payment features may involve third-party services when requested; their purposes must be distinguished from advertising.

Journey measurement requires the optional analytics choice. Umami is disabled by default; if enabled, it requires the same choice. No consent exemption is presumed. Google Ads remains disabled and AdSense is not currently activated. Future advertising requires applicable consent and provider/CMP conditions.

The banner allows acceptance, rejection and custom choices. Closing settings or continuing to browse does not grant consent. “Manage cookies” in navigation and footers lets you change your choice.

  • keoby_cookie_consent: local storage of version, date and choices, valid for 183 days (about six months) for acceptance and rejection. A version change may require a new choice.
  • keoby:journey:tab-day: session storage only after analytics permission; a daily per-tab identifier. Server visit records currently expire after 90 days.
  • keoby_optional_denied: necessary choice-protection cookie, up to 183 days, preventing an old grant from returning if local storage writes fail.
  • Legacy cookie_consent, keoby_cookie_consent and keoby_umami_opt_out cookies no longer grant consent; root-path removal is attempted when saving a choice.

Withdrawal stops managed optional services and may reload the page to unload previously loaded third-party code. It does not retrospectively erase all provider data; contact the controller to exercise rights. Blocked storage may produce a session-only choice and show the banner again. External documentation videos open through an explicit link, after which the third-party policy applies. Necessary session and preference storage follows the relevant session or preference duration.

Protection when serving advertisements

Optional cookie consent alone does not authorise every advertising operation. The mechanism also applies restrictions based on the birth date already declared: unknown ages and declared minors do not receive repeat-display identifiers or external network advertisements through this mechanism. Contextual criteria require approval; categories and tags are not permitted for targeting by default. External activation also requires configuration review and approved placements. These safeguards are not strong age verification and cannot recall data or scripts already received; withdrawing managed services may reload the page.

Your privacy choices

Keoby uses storage needed for the service. Journey measurement and optional Umami audience measurement, when enabled, require your agreement, as do optional advertising services. You can refuse or change your choices at any time.

Optional journey measurement links your visit to accepted interactions and first-discovery outcomes, only with your permission.
